The composition revisits The Young Painter, an emblematic late work of Picasso. Lithograph produced by Henri Deschamps, regular collaborator of Picasso, with the printed inscription: « HENRI DESCHAMPS LITH. » Printed by the famous Paris atelier Mourlot, with the imprint MOURLOT at the bottom of the sheet. This is the limited edition version, hand-numbered in pencil: 54 / 250 The work is printed on fine wove paper bearing the watermark “ARCHES FRANCE,” clearly visible through the transparency. This numbered Arches paper version should be distinguished from non-numbered posters also distributed for the exhibition.
