Alla auktioner / Samtida Konst / Paco Guzmán - Abstrac B5 - No Reserve
Oil on canvas painting measuring 74x54 cm. The work has 6 cm of canvas extra on all sides to avoid problems when stretching it on the frame. The piece ships with a certificate of authenticity. For security, the artwork is sent inside a rigid, waterproof cardboard tube with caps. Add this vibrant and sophisticated contemporary abstract piece by Paco Guzmán to your collection, where color, fluidity, and geometric structure intertwine in a dynamic, hypnotic rhythm. In this canvas, Guzmán explores the decomposition of form and light through vertical bands that fragment an organic, flowing background. The color palette — dominated by intense hues of neon pink, fuchsia, warm oranges, yellows, and deep touches of purple and burgundy — creates a sense of overflowing energy and constant movement. Paco Guzmán is an eclectic artist with a long career behind him. He graduated from the Llotja School in Barcelona, in painting techniques and mural painting. His work is in private collections in the USA, Taiwan, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Italy. He has participated in various exhibitions in art galleries and shown his work at different international art festivals. He also works as a professional cartoonist. Paco Guzmán, born in 1970 in Ulldecona, Tarragona, is a Spanish graphic artist, painter, and caricaturist. From an early age, he showed notable drawing talent, creating caricatures of his teachers and classmates. Although he initially took an interest in comics, he soon leaned toward impressionist painting and caricature. In 1992, he began his painting career as a self-taught artist, focusing on classical motifs such as still lifes. Subsequently, he completed a correspondence course in artistic drawing, balancing his studies with work in a furniture factory. His passion for art led him to devote himself fully to painting and caricature, creating caricatures of friends and tourists, which allowed him to refine his technique. Between 1997 and 2002, he studied at Esardi in Amposta, in collaboration with Llotja de Barcelona, specializing in painting techniques and mural painting. During this period, he left his factory job to focus on his artistic studies, supporting himself through occasional work and his street art. Throughout his career, Guzmán has developed an eclectic style, combining contemporary painting with caricature. He has published the book "901 Caricaturas," which collects more than one hundred caricatures of famous figures, created with various techniques such as acrylic on canvas, digital painting, oil on canvas, and graphite on paper. He has also participated in exhibitions such as "Anatomia de les ànimes i visions caricaturesques" at the Espai Expositiu DeltArt in Deltebre, where he presented works created during confinement, reflecting an evolution in his technique and creativity. Paco Guzmán continues to explore new forms of artistic expression, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the realm of painting and caricature in Spain.
