An elongated rosy-red central medallion with a light core stands out from the beige inner field of this hand-knotted runner from Pakistan. Small flowers, leaves and branching tendrils fill the area. Several smaller decorative motifs above and below the medallion emphasize the longitudinal axis. Rose-pink, bluish-gray and dark details complement the warm color palette. Bluish-gray corner areas with curved contours grasp the light inner field at both ends. A red border with recurring floral and leaf motifs frames the Oriental rug.
