Abraham Palatnik (1928–2020) – Op Art Owl Figurine – Artemis Collection Description: A charming and highly collectible small pocket-sized owl figurine designed by the renowned Brazilian kinetic and Op Art pioneer Abraham Palatnik. Crafted from molded acrylic glass (lucite/perspex) as part of his famous Artemis Collection produced in Brazil. The piece features a striking blue and black patterned interior that creates a brilliant three-dimensional optical effect from different viewing angles. Signatures & Labels: Retains the original "Made in Brazil" paper sticker label on the bottom and the stamped "Pal." signature mark near the feet. Condition: Very good overall condition. Please note a minor 3 to 4 mm chip at the upper rim of the base, along with some light, faint surface rubbing scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. These do not detract from the visual display or the optical 3D illusion.
