Paris, Henin & Cie, um 1900. Massivsilber, Feingehalt 950/1000. Passig geschwungenes, oval fassoniertes Présentoir (feste Untertasse) mit mehrfach profiliertem, profiliert-ansteigendem Rand. Die zentral fest montierte, auf profiliertem Ovalfuß ruhende Saucière folgt in ihrer Wandung der eleganten Linienführung des Untersatzes. Die vorderen und hinteren Ränder sind wellenartig ausschwingend gearbeitet und im Zentrum mit fein ziselierten Muschelmotiven akzentuiert. Marken: Französische Garantiestempel: Minerva-Kopf im Schild mit der Ziffer 1 für den höchsten Feingehalt (Minerve casquée, 950/1000). Meistermarke: Henin & Cie, Paris. Fine solid silver, 950/1000 standard. Elegant silver sauce boat with integral stand (présentoir), crafted by the renowned Parisian silversmith Henin & Cie. The shaped oval stand features a gracefully contoured outline and a finely molded, rising border with multiple profiles, reflecting the refined aesthetics of French silverwork at the turn of the century. The centrally mounted sauce boat, resting on a molded oval foot, follows the harmonious lines of the stand. Its front and rear rims are worked in a graceful wave-like form and highlighted at the center with finely chased shell motifs, lending the piece both movement and elegance. The overall design combines functionality with sophisticated craftsmanship characteristic of the finest Parisian silver production. Hallmarks, French guarantee marks: Minerva head in shield with numeral “1,” indicating the highest silver standard (Minerve casquée, 950/1000). Maker’s mark: Henin & Cie, Paris.
