Item: A0000006656 PARKER CHALLENGER fountain pen in marbleized green pearl and black celluloid, with chrome-plated clip and rings and a black nib Length: 12.2 cm Diameter: 1 cm Nib: F Period: 1930s (manufactured between 1934 and 1941) Materials: body and cap of marbleized green pearl, cream and black celluloid, with very pronounced veining; black resin nib section; clip with engraving "PARKER" and double cap ring in chrome-plated metal; gold nib with engraving "PARKER PEN - MADE IN U.S.A."; filling system via detachable end piece (button). Condition: good for its age. The celluloid preserves shine and transparency, with no cracks or deformations, showing surface wear and micro-scratches typical of use. The chrome plating on the clip and rings shows patina and light oxidation spots on the clip ball. The nib is intact, with the nib tines aligned and correct geometry.
