Alla auktioner / Belysning / Parker - Snake Limited Edition - Fountain pen
A0000001495 The piece is presented in an outstanding state of preservation, standing out for both its structural integrity and its strong aesthetic presence, typical of a high-end limited edition. The body and the cap, crafted in solid sterling silver with high-relief sculptural work, are in excellent condition, perfectly preserving the definition of the scales and the serpent motif. The reliefs retain all their sharpness and volume, with no worn areas or loss of detail, which is especially relevant in this model where the quality of the engraving is decisive. A very light, homogeneous patina, typical of silver, is evident, enhancing the contrast and giving character without affecting its aesthetics or value in the slightest. The metal elements present a clean finish, with minimal signs of handling, no dents, deformations, or significant wear. The contrasts and hallmarks are crisp and perfectly legible, confirming authenticity and material quality. The ornamental details, including the serpent’s eyes, remain in excellent condition, securely fixed and with a lively shine, adding depth and exclusivity to the set. The 18-karat gold nib is in pristine condition, with no deformations or alterations, with proper alignment and a clean surface. The pen has been inspected and is delivered fully operational, guaranteeing smooth, precise, and reliable writing performance. The section and the feed show very moderate use, with no buildup or signs of internal wear, evidencing proper maintenance over time. The set is accompanied by its original case, in very good condition, with light external marks typical of storage, while maintaining its functionality and presentation. Overall, this is a very well-preserved specimen, with exceptional presence, ideal for both collection and occasional use. Preservation recommendations To keep this piece in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality fountain pen inks, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry completely before storing, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and always handle the system gently. Good luck with the auction!
