Paw Paw Bait Co. – Rond Emaille Reclamebord – Hengelsport - Enamel

Beautiful round enamel advertising sign from Paw Paw Bait Co., produced in a striking yellow-red color scheme. In the center is a classic casting rod with reel, surrounded by the advertising slogans “More Strikes – More Fish” and “Fuel for Performance”. At the bottom it says “Made in USA 1953.” This refers to the vintage American advertising style of the design; without additional factory markings I would not claim that the sign was actually produced in 1953. The sign is equipped with four mounting holes. Around the holes there is local enamel flaking and rusting visible. Furthermore, the sign has a nice gloss and the image and lettering have remained clearly preserved. Diameter: 30 cm Material: enamel/metal Theme: angling / fishing advertising / American advertising Origin of design: United States An attractive decorative sign for collectors of fishing gear, fish memorabilia, and classic American advertising. The condition and any signs of use are visible in the photos. Shipped carefully and well packed.
