Including 10 rubies and the diamonds of the heart and the upper suspension element --Description: Antique heart pendant, made in 18 kt yellow gold, with a total weight of 29.0 g and a height of 4 cm. The piece is decorated with diamonds and rubies. It features a central diamond, surrounded by a ruby floral motif, in addition to diamonds set in the body of the heart and the upper suspension element. The piece is kept with its original case. The jewel comes from a family collection. The family provenance is provided without personal data or private photographs. Condition: Excellent condition. It is recommended to examine the photographs carefully. Provenance: Family, across several generations. Signature of the creator: the jewelry of the early 20th century, Antiga Casa Moreira - Oscar Machado. Its goldsmithing and stone work are documented. I consider the original case a valuable part of the jewel and it reinforces the work carried out in that house. Its prestige is documented. The jewel was crafted in that Rio de Janeiro jewelry shop. Documented as distinguished and elitist in the early 20th century. (It had its own staff as well as notable work with precious stones acquired for that purpose.)
