Photo album - Fotoalbum UK 142 en 40 squadron Wellington...

An extraordinary photo album with 148 photos across 30 pages, from a technical soldier of the 142nd Wellington Bomb Squad, together with the 40th Bomb Squadron UK and the collaboration with Canadian and American soldiers in Italy. Beautiful locations such as Rome, Naples, Foggia and an eruption of Vesuvius and Pompeii, with spectacular photos from the plane, Amendola Airfield, Saiano, San Giovanni, the Suez Canal. US GMC trucks driving through the local waters under a bomb-damaged bridge, crashed Wellington aircraft in the desert. A fine piece of everyday war history from the Allied side.
