Pietro Virgilio Lietti (1928) - Venezia

Original oil painting "Venezia" – Pietro Virgilio Lietti (1928) – 50x70 cm – Certified with fingerprint Description: Beautiful and atmospheric mid-century impressionist cityscape of Venice (Venezia) by the officially registered Italian master Pietro Virgilio Lietti (born 1928 in Monza). The painting shows a lively Venetian canal with historic palaces, a stone bridge and characteristic gondolas. Lietti's recognizable style is perfectly expressed through the powerful use of the palette knife and thick, paste-like layers of paint (impasto).
