Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon - 1973 UK early first...

I have collected records for over 50 years, mainly The Beatles and related and other classic rock and pop artists mainly from the 60s and 70s. It is now time to thin out my collection and I will be doing this exclusively via auction through Catawiki over the next few months so keep an eye out for these, this collection has taken nearly a lifetime to put together. I was always careful as I only wanted a minimum of EX condition with the odd exception when the rarity of the record was such that I had to compromise and was obsessed as a completist to ensure that all inserts were present along with the correct contents and inners. PLEASE NOTE: I WILL BE AWAY TILL 6TH NOVEMBER, SO THE ITEM CANNOT BE SHIPPED TILL 9TH NOVEMBER. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon. 1973 UK first press housed in gatefold stiff card sleeve complete with the 2 posters and stickers. Verified as very early issue pressed in the first few weeks of March 1973 at the Hayes EMI plant by virtue of the A-2 & B-2 matrix numbers along with stampers 1-GH & 3-TD in addition to a recognized miss press to the dead wax where the dead wax matrix numbers appear to read SHVL 8C4 instead of the correct SHVL 804. VINYL VISUAL: VG+ Retains the original deep gloss sheen with numerous surface sleeve removal marks however none are feelable or serious, sits completely flat on the turn table with no warping. VINYL AUDIO: VG+ Plays through crisp and clear with light static audible to quieter periods of play, inbetween tracks and dead wax areas with the odd light rev click, does not overwhelm the play by any means. LABELS : VG+ Clean set with a few foxing marks to each and numerous visible spindle trails to each. SLEEVE: EX Well cared for and clearly stored correctly with the odd mark, very minor storage to bottom edge corners all other edges and corners are sharp with little if any wear, original sticker to top right corner front panel. INSERTS: EX Both the stickers and the posters show little if any signs of handling or removal the posters have no pin holes or signs of handling no tears or fold splits the stickers are NM with the backing 100% intact. INNER: EX Not original but I found the nearest match I could as the original inner sleeve when I purchased this record was not present so I found the nearest match I could and has no splits tears or damage. Overall a very early genuine first press LP complete with all the inserts in lovely condition. #ExclusiveSelectio
