Pink Floyd - The Final Cut (Germany) – Original 1983...

A beautiful original 1983 German pressing of Pink Floyd's The Final Cut, issued on Harvest under catalogue number 1C 064-65 042. This is the original German issue from the album's release year, housed in the distinctive glossy gatefold sleeve and pressed by EMI Electrola for the continental European market. Pink Floyd Archives documents 1C 064-65 042 as the original German 1983 issue. The Final Cut was the final Pink Floyd studio album to feature Roger Waters, and remains one of the band's darkest and most personal records, including The Gunner's Dream, The Fletcher Memorial Home, Not Now John and Two Suns in the Sunset. Original German copies are documented with the early matrix sequence bearing TML-M mastering markings, identifying mastering through The Mastering Lab—an attractive technical detail of the original issue. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original glossy gatefold sleeve remains structurally strong and presents very nicely. There is some light corner wear and modest age-related handling, but no major structural damage. The artwork remains clean and attractive, grading a solid VG+ example. Vinyl (NM): The vinyl retains an exceptional deep gloss and presents extremely cleanly across both sides. There is virtually no visible evidence of previous play, with no significant marks, scratches or distracting surface wear. Overall a genuine Near Mint record and a particularly impressive surviving example of this original 1983 pressing. ⸻ Details * Original German pressing * Harvest 1C 064-65 042 * 1983 release * Stereo LP * Glossy gatefold sleeve * Pressed by EMI Electrola ⸻ Matrix / Stampers * Side 1: 65042-A-01 1 / TML-M * Side 2: 65042-B-01 1 / TML-M
