Platinum Ring with Sapphire & Diamonds, from Our Workshop

This ring from our workshop is a classic entourage ring. This ring shape, in which a larger center stone is surrounded by diamonds, is named after the French word "entourage" for companion, entourage. Entourage rings are one of the classic designs in jewelry history. We encounter them throughout the centuries, always adapted to the latest fashion. In this ring from our workshop, a natural sapphire forms the centerpiece of the design. The gemstone is a beautiful mid-blue color, reminiscent of a sunny afternoon with hardly a cloud in the sky and bright sunshine. Fourteen brilliant-cut diamonds line the center stone and surround it with festive sparkle. Two more diamonds adorn the ring shoulders. A total of 0.25 carats of diamonds have come together here. All gemstones are set in cool, shiny platinum. We have designed the ring to be as comfortable as possible to wear. Thanks to its flat design and the gemstone settings without distracting prongs, the ring can be worn every day without any problems. The ring shoulders are decorated on the sides with delicate ornaments based on models from around 1890; all parts are kept as fine and delicate as possible to draw the eye to the beauty of the gemstones. The ring was made for us entirely in Germany, in workshops in Pforzheim, Idar-Oberstein and here in Berlin. The platinum and diamonds come from vintage pieces of jewellery. This is the first time the sapphire has been used in a piece of jewellery.
