Pocket watch: Rococo verge watch with enamel painting, rare scene, c. 1760

Approx. 45 mm in diameter, ca. 66 g, 18-carat gold, very fine painting on the reverse depicting a sultan with his wife, who is being portrayed; inside, another painting with a floral motif; verge movement; distinctive enamelled dial set with diamonds and diamond-set hands; movement intact; rare.
