Please consult the original photographs to verify the artwork’s real condition.” This acrylic on canvas artwork is a captivating portrait that harmoniously fuses figurative realism with abstract expressionism. The composition presents the profile of a young woman looking to the right, with an expression of introspection and serenity. Her face is illuminated by a warm, vibrant color palette, where sunny yellows and intense oranges intertwine with touches of coral pink and bold accents of blue and red, creating a dynamic contrast with her deep black hair. This chromatic superposition and the tactile textures of the painting—evident in the application of thick brushstrokes and layered glazes—emphasize the portrait’s emotional depth. The background, far from flat, is an explosion of geometric and gestural abstraction, with orange and yellow circles that evoke solar shapes and a series of diagonal and vertical lines extending in all directions, adding a sense of movement and energy. A delicate row of small reddish floral shapes aligns vertically, introducing an element of nature that anchors the composition. Overall, the work achieves a unique balance between the precision of the portrait and the freedom of abstract expression, inviting the viewer to contemplate the interaction between the human figure and an environment saturated with light and color.
