The Stilografica Omas "Guglielmo Marconi" was produced in a Limited Edition in 1995 to celebrate the Centenary of the Invention of the Radio (1895/1995) as a tribute to the brilliant Italian inventor, pioneer of wireless telecommunications. The body is made of fine blue resin with yellow-gold plated fittings. Symbolic is the clip designed to reproduce a telegraph key. Also the cap ring bears the acronym "QSL" which in the transmission code means "I have received the message." On the two-tone 18Kt gold nib are inscribed the gold fineness, the centennial and a design depicting the propagation of radio waves. Filling via piston. Closed dimensions: 14 cm. The fountain pen is presented with a generic Omas box visible in the photos. The pen's conditions are excellent, probably never inked or rarely used. The excellent quality of the nib allows fluid and steady writing. The filling mechanism is perfectly functioning. Tracked and insured shipment with UPS courier.
