Pricenton - mondia - 1980-1989

watch with a hinged case equipped with a front and rear protective cover. Back cover: Features rich repoussé work with floral motifs and a finely detailed central inlay. Front cover: Shows an artistic bas-relief depicting a hunting scene, with a hunter with a rifle blowing into a hunting horn, accompanied by two hunting dogs in a forest. Crown and bezel: The crown and the upper ring present elaborate finishes coordinated with the case style, enriched by a blue decorative ribbon. Brand: PRINCETON, with the inscription 17 JEWELS indicating the presence of 17 jewels in the movement to reduce friction. Swiss Made: Clearly indicated at the bottom of the dial, confirming Swiss manufacture. Numbers: Black Arabic numerals clearly readable from 1 to 12 and hands in a classic style. Small seconds: Sub-dial for the small seconds positioned at 6 o’clock. Opening the case back reveals the interior decorated with a honeycomb perlage finish typical of watchmaking tradition. On the mechanism the inscription MONDIA is engraved on the main wheel, revealing a close link or shared production between the Princeton and Mondia brands (both tied to the Swiss watchmaking scene of the twentieth century). The inscription SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS is also visible on the movement bridge.
