Q Wang 12 — Montmartre, a Café in the Roaring Twenties Born in Shenzhen in 1984, Qin Wang discovered painting in 2010 after spending time in Paris. Deeply influenced by the Art Deco style she encountered at an exhibition in the French capital, she developed a distinctive pictorial world populated by elegant figures inspired by the Roaring Twenties. Her work is characterized by geometric stylization and carefully divided areas of color, recalling the stained-glass art of the interwar period. In this painting, the artist transports us to a Parisian café in Montmartre, with a festive and refined atmosphere.
