Description A beautiful and highly decorative RAAK Amsterdam pendant lamp, featuring a large, organically shaped hand-blown smoked brown/olive glass shade with a striking glossy finish. The combination of the warm smoked glass, brass-coloured fitting and black suspension creates a particularly atmospheric Mid-Century Modern appearance. The shade becomes even more impressive when illuminated, producing a warm amber glow and beautiful reflections. RAAK Amsterdam was founded in 1954 by Carel O. Lockhorn and became one of the Netherlands' best-known lighting manufacturers, working with several important designers and glass producers during the Mid-Century period.
