History During the 1970s, Rado continued to build upon its reputation for distinctive case designs and reliable mechanical performance. The Kapell model reflects the era's preference for bold cushion cases and integrated aesthetics. Rado automatic watches from this period are particularly notable for their charming details; historically, Rado automatic watches feature a distinctive rotating anchor logo on the dial that swings freely, mimicking the motion of the winding rotor. Equipped with the robust ETA 2824 automatic movement, watches from this era of Rado's production remain highly appreciated for their durability and striking visual character.
