Rare geode of pink cobaltiferous dolomite with erythrite

Splendid cobalt-bearing Dolomite geode, a pink-colored variety of Dolomite due to cobalt presence, from the famous Bou Azzer mining district, in the Draa-Tafilalet region, Morocco. The inner cavity is lined with a crust of pink crystals with a compact appearance, while in a portion of the piece you can also observe erythrite crystals of a red-vinaceous color, a secondary cobalt mineral typical of the same locality. These features add aesthetic and mineralogical value to the piece. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the field of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for very rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
