Rare, Kokomo Electricar fire truck, an unusual electrically operated toy designed to run as part of the Kokomo Electricar track system. Large red fire apparatus features a motorized front vehicle connected to an extended ladder trailer, with cast iron driver figures positioned at both the front and rear. Equipped with three electric lights, all untested. Retains ladder raising mechanism (not working) with hand crank and appears to include the original ladders. The Electricar system was designed to receive electrical current through a trackside electrical contact system, with the contact assembly extending from the front bumper. Electrical and operating mechanisms have not been tested. Shows considerable age-related wear including paint loss, scratches, oxidation, surface rust, and soiling throughout. Overall approx. 28 in. long. Estimate $400 - $800
