Relief in medieval style made of terracotta

Descriptio Terracotta relief. Measures 21 x 20 cm; with frame 34 x 33 cm. Workshop scene with two figures on either side of an anvil or workbench. On the right, one figure raises a hammer in action, while on the left another holds or presents the object being worked. Both wear long tunics and are arranged around a central structure that organizes the composition vertically. The suspended gesture of the hammer and the relationship between the figures’ hands lend narrative tension to this small, handcrafted relief. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed.
