A lovely ceramic pedestal cake stand by Gio Ponti, produced by Richard Ginori at its own San Cristoforo Manifactory in Milan around 1935. San Cristoforo is the manufactory where Richard-Ginori produced its ceramics. Mark: Saint Christopher figure bearing the Child Jesus on its shoulder - the name of the Manifacture whose artistic director was Gio Ponti - includes the model number - the decor number handwritten. Measurements: Height 9 cm - plate diameter 23 cm - base diameter 12 cm. In perfect condition, without defects. This is a fine example of Art Deco ceramics contemporaneous with the period. It will be shipped in appropriate packaging via BRT courier.
