He began his artistic career in 2004 and created his first work, a crocodile in bright red resin, which quickly became an iconic piece in the sculptor’s menagerie. The artist draws inspiration from pop culture, everyday objects, the popular. Soon, Richard Orlinski develops new sculptures, often animals, all symbols of freedom, power, and passion. The result is electrifying works, with pop colors and a facetated style that has toured the world. Very quickly, exhibiting his works in often spectacular sizes, in unusual outdoor spaces became his hallmark. Driven by a desire to democratize art and make it accessible to as many people as possible, Richard Orlinski is interested in all means of expression and his art knows no boundaries. In 2021, he was named Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister of Culture Roselyne Bachelot-Narquin. With several million followers on social networks, Richard Orlinski gathers a community of enthusiasts and passionate fans who are very engaged. An undeniable source of inspiration for the artist who invests 100% in each of his projects. “I deeply believe in the power of art; often, people don’t dare push open the door of a gallery or a museum, so I make sure the museum comes to them!” “decorative object, luxury item, table art, collector, interior decoration, statuette, sculpture, no panthère, kong, no stik, no koons, no basquiat, no banksy, no swoon, pop art” Photos are part of the description.
