His work is now known to many people, and a number of his artworks hang with satisfied buyers. The strength of this artist lies in his ability to produce art of a high level in all styles and techniques. Many years ago Rinus studied and taught at the private academy Daca in Alphen aan den Rijn. In the past years oil painting has been the technique used. The classical still life is central, but landscapes and, to a lesser extent, portraits are also chosen subjects. Besides creating art himself, Rinus also offers drawing and painting lessons on a limited scale in his studio/gallery. Furthermore he also creates paintings on commission; here his years of experience as a teacher and his routine come in handy when carrying out a commission. In the coming period he will devote a lot of time to expanding the gallery collection. View the various paintings by Rinus and you will see that a lot is possible. Rinus always signed with M j Manschot
