Parthénope **Decorative ceramic composition — 12 tiles — Riviera Tiles** « Parthénope » is a contemporary decorative composition made up of 12 individual ceramic tiles, arranged in 4 × 3 to form a set of about 45 × 60 cm when assembled. The tiles are delivered separately, not glued and not mounted on a backing. Each tile remains independent in order to allow the buyer to choose freely how to install it: wall mounting with or without joints, integration into a backsplash or wall décor, framing or fixation on the backing of their choice. ## Description This original creation draws inspiration from European Art Nouveau aesthetics and the Mediterranean and Provençal world. It is a contemporary creation published by Riviera Tiles and not an antique work. ## Technique and manufacturing The decor is realized by high-definition sublimation on ceramic tiles. Each tile is prepared and pressed individually in our workshop in France. The sublimation process consists of transferring the printed decor onto the specially treated surface of the ceramic using a heat press, under high temperature and strong pressure the inks penetrate into the tile. This method yields a decor that is more precise with deeper colors while maintaining the matte finish of the ceramic. However, color perception may vary slightly depending on the screen used, its brightness and settings. The sublimation process and the individual manufacturing of the tiles can also lead to slight variations in shade, saturation, contrast or texture between two productions or between the digital preview and the final product. These minor variations are inherent to the ceramic transfer process and do not constitute a manufacturing defect. Installation As the tiles are delivered separately, installation and the choice of backing are at the purchaser’s discretion. Before final installation, it is recommended to lay out the 12 tiles flat to check their arrangement and the overall alignment of the pattern. Depending on the chosen installation, slight gaps or joints may modify the final dimensions of the set and create small visual interruptions between the different parts of the decor. Care and maintenance Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products, solvents and harsh detergents that could damage the finish. The tiles are suitable for interior decoration, kitchens and bathrooms. They can also be used in a covered outdoor space protected from weather and direct sun. To preserve colors for a long time, avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV and the elements. ## Edition and authenticity This composition can be reproduced within the Riviera Tiles collection. Each copy is nevertheless prepared and sublimated individually, which may produce the slight manufacturing variations mentioned above. ## Packaging The 12 tiles are packaged and protected individually before packing to minimize risk of impact and rubbing during transport. ## About Riviera Tiles Riviera Tiles is a French publishing house specializing in the creation of contemporary decorative ceramic compositions.
