Rolex Early Sterling Silver Cushion-Case "Trench Style" Wristwatch

Swiss. This Rolex cushion-case "trench style" wristwatch, C. 1915-19, captures the pivotal transition from early 20th-century pocket timepieces to functional wrist-worn instrumentation. Housed in a sterling silver case, it is stamped internally with the historic Wilsdorf & Davis "W&D" mark, alongside British silver hallmarks. The case houses a manual-wind movement featuring a visible winding wheel explicitly signed, "Rolex 15 Jewels." The classic period dial displays bold Arabic numerals, and a recessed sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock, complemented by a relumed replacement minute hand. Fitted to a vintage-style steel expandable stretch-link bracelet, this rare piece is offered as watch-only, without its original box or paperwork. Stamped, "W&D Rolex", with hallmarks for sterling silver on the inner caseback. Marked, "Rolex 15 Jewels", on one of the winding gears.
