This specific lot stands out for belonging to the earliest, pure and highly desirable variant among collectors: the inside of the lid (under the lid) is in visible fine wood (lacking the fabric lining of later productions) and bears the famous inscription "Création Genève Rolex" stamp-embossed in dark brown, a distinctive exclusive feature of this very first series.
