Romantic Ring with Garnet in Matt Rose Gold, from Our Workshop

One deep red garnet, whose facets reflect the light in various shades of red, is the focal point of this ring. The ring is designed like a rose branch with finely modelled thorns and blossoms, in the centre of which the garnet sits like a red rose. The rose gold of the setting has a velvety matte finish so that the details stand out particularly. There was already a great fashion for garnets in the mid-19th century - and the idea of designing jewellery in the shape of twining branches or twigs dates from the same period, which is why we found the combination of ring and stone particularly fitting. The setting of the garnet comes from a small manufactory in Chicago, the gemstone was set in our workshop. Incidentally, in the gemstone language of the 19th century, in which jewels were assigned various meanings, the garnet was associated with constancy and loyalty: a beautiful meaning for a gemstone in the colour of love, we think. Since the garnet is very durable, the ring is also suitable for daily wear. Its rich symbolism also makes it an ideal engagement ring.
