Ronak Moshiri - Garden of the Beloved

This artwork is a contemporary meditation on the timeless world of Persian art and literature. Inspired by the lyrical imagery of Persian poetry, the painting evokes a dreamlike garden where the human figure, nature, and imagination exist in quiet harmony. Delicate ornamentation, flowing lines, richly patterned textiles, and botanical forms recall the visual language of Persian miniatures, while the composition draws upon the poetic tradition of **love, beauty, longing, and the garden as a metaphor for the soul**. The figure appears almost suspended between the earthly and the imagined, surrounded by birds, flowers, and intricate traces of an enchanted landscape. The textured surface and layered marks bring an intentionally contemporary sensibility to these historical influences, allowing fragments of Persian visual culture to dissolve into an atmospheric, almost dreamlike world. It celebrates the enduring connection between poetry and painting—the idea that a garden can become both a physical place and an inner landscape of memory, desire, and beauty.
