Rosary - Commemorative Coin: Sede Vacante, Metal, Onyx - 2026 - Pope Leo XIV

Rare and hard-to-find objects personally donated by Pope Leone XIV to a prominent figure during a private audience. This concerns specifically a splendid Rosary Crown of Pope Leone XIV, complete with an elegant red leather case bearing the Pope’s coat of arms with his motto "IN ILLO UNO UNUM". The Rosary is made with precious Onyx beads of the highest quality, with a total length of about 53 cm. Together with the Rosary there is a rare commemorative 2 Euro coin issued on the occasion of the Apostolic See Vacancy after the death of Pope Francis. The coin is housed in its original case with the dome of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and the emblem of the See Vacant. The coin honors the See Vacant, the period between the end of one pontificate and the election of a new Pope. In the center is depicted the coat of arms of Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell, Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church, responsible for the governance of the Holy See during the See Vacant, surmounted by the umbraculum and crossed keys, symbols of papal power in anticipation of the new Pontiff; the crest recalls the solemnity and continuity of the Church. In the crown the dove, symbol of the Holy Spirit, invoked to guide the cardinals in discerning God’s will for the choice of the new Pope. The coin pays tribute to the Camerlengo’s role in the most delicate moments of the Church’s life. These two objects were donated directly by Pope Leone XIV’s own hands to some high dignitaries of the diplomatic corps who had the privilege of greeting him personally in the Vatican; they cannot be purchased in any shop as they are exclusive gifts made specifically for the Pope and delivered only by him personally. Along with the two objects, there is also included in the auction an official photo of Pope Leone, on the back of which is the Pope’s full-color coat of arms and a faithful reproduction of the Papal signature; the accompanying photo for the auction clearly shows the extreme care taken to produce both the rosary and the book. Worldwide shipping in rigid packaging available.
