-Antique Roskopf Patent pocket watch with a white enamel dial and Roman numerals. -Type: Antique pocket watch (likely from the late 19th or early 20th century) -Features: White dial, in the center a small blemish (see photo), black Roman numerals, ornate hands and a winding crown of brass/gold-colored metal on top -Mark: On the dial the text "ROSKOPF PATENT" is printed. -Weight 150 g, diameter 5.5 cm, a small imperfection in the center of the dial. Movement (clockwork) of the same Roskopf Patent pocket watch. It showcases the iconic, robust mechanism specifically designed for the "proletariat watches" of Georges Frederic Roskopf. The stamp on the movement with the five-pointed star in a circle surrounded by the text "Roskopf Patent" is the official trademark that has been used since 1882. The letters C.H stand for the specific Swiss or French case maker (boîtier) who pressed and supplied the nickel/stainless steel watch case. Shipped by registered mail and well packaged.
