S.T. Dupont - Ligne 1 Small - Lighter - Gold-plated

The S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Small lighter presents a generally good condition, with visible signs of use appropriate to its age and nature as a personal-use item. The gold-plated finish with a vertical striped pattern remains attractive and even overall, preserving its characteristic elegance. Nevertheless, micro-scratches and small wear marks are noticeable across the surface, especially on edges and more exposed areas, where the gold plating shows slight losses and smoothing of the relief. These details are consistent with regular use and do not affect the overall aesthetics of the piece, which still shows a very distinguished presence. The corners show more evident wear, with occasional loss of plating, something common in this type of lighter. The lid opens and closes correctly, maintaining a proper fit, and the ignition mechanism works normally, producing a stable flame, confirming its proper function. On the base, the inscriptions “S.T. Dupont Paris”, “Made in France” and numerations can be seen, slightly softened by use but still legible. The ignition wheel and mechanical system show use but respond effectively. Overall, it is an authentic piece with character, which preserves its functionality and a large part of its aesthetic appeal, with a patina of use that adds authenticity and reflects its history. It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper conservation. Happy bidding!
