S.T. Dupont - Line d - No reserve price - Lighter - Gold plated

Line 1, out of production for several years, has helped shape the history of the French House and of the lighter in general. In Italy and around the world in the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s it was the ultimate destination for every smoker, a source of pride and a true status symbol of the era. The distinctive sound of the lid closing distinguished a Dupont smoker even in the dark cinema rooms or in smoky restaurants (when it was still possible to smoke in indoor spaces). Elegant pocket lighter S.T. Dupont Paris, model Linea 1 (Ligne 1), in 20 micron gold-plated metal with the classic guilloché work in "pointe de diamant" (diamond point) on both sides and a roller ignition wheel with vertical grooves. On the bottom are the original engravings: signature "S.T. Dupont", "Paris", "Made in France", indication of plating "20 µ", maker’s punch in a frame and serial number. Gas refill valve on the bottom. Lighter serviced and working: produces a regular flame, as visible in the photo. The lid opens and closes correctly with the characteristic "cling" sound. Complete with the original case.
