Santicri Mixed media Dimensions: 70x50x2 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed unique piece 1/1 An iconic work is struck by an egg, but it is not an act of blind destruction. The color exploding onto the canvas is not chosen at random: it is the same as the interior of the egg, as if the essence of the gesture transformed into painting. In Desecrated, the artist performs a visceral yet lucid intervention, where apparent vandalism becomes a new language. It is a challenge to the passive respect of the “untouchable” image, but also a generative gesture: from the strike arises a new balance, a new tension between past and present. It is a profanation, yes, but sacred in its own way — because it transforms a primitive gesture into an aesthetic statement. SHIPPED INSURED! The package is carefully packed. The canvas is shipped already mounted on a wooden frame, frame not included. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, placing himself right after icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A recognized talent not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that between studies of Geometra and Architecture led him to collaborate with an artisan of resin sculptures. There arose an increasingly strong need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art paintings and sculptures, pop art, contemporary art. "It is never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that blends well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
