Savonette pocket watch, with a front cover protecting the dial, of Swiss origin and signed “Sárga János – Kolozsvár.” Probably made to order for the clientele of the watchmaker and goldsmith indicated on the dial. The case features rich decoration of volutes and vegetal motifs, arranged around a central cartouche on a finely worked background. The white dial, with large stylized Arabic numerals, dark hands with diamond-shaped details and small seconds at 6 o’clock, preserves elegant readability. The inner lid bears the inscriptions “Remontoir – Ancre ligne droite – 15 rubis,” accompanied by decorative medallions. Marciante, with chain included, composed of short links alternating with elongated rectangular elements, with a clasp and a wide closing ring. Precision and autonomy have not been verified. There are fine cracks and pinpricks on the dial, as well as patina, scratches, small dents and wear to the decoration on the case. The material of the case and the chain has not been ascertained. The photographs document the condition of the object and form an integral part of the description.
