Collection of maritime travel ephemera primarily focused on the Savannah Line (Ocean Steamship Company of Savannah) and Home Lines, dating from the early 20th century through 1980. The group includes one Home Lines passenger list booklet with a printed orange cover, featuring a stylized ship funnel and a handwritten blue ink date of 1980. The booklet is bound with a yellow decorative cord and tassel. Savannah Line materials include several promotional folders and brochures for specific shipboard areas, including the Social Saloon, Smoking Room, and Dining Saloon. The collection contains an assortment of postcards depicting ship interiors such as the Observation Dining Saloon (Forward), a Stateroom De Luxe, and the Bridge with officers at the wheel. Exterior views include steamships at sea and at New York piers. Several postcards include handwritten correspondence and postmarks, notably a card postmarked N.Y. JUN 15 1906 and another from SAVANNAH GA FEB 19 1913 featuring a green 1-cent United States postage stamp with George Washington. Dimensions: See Desc.
