Fine Pair of Silvered Bonze Fighting Roosters Italian Animalier Sculpture, 20th Century A striking pair of sculptural fighting roosters, captured in dynamic poses with outstretched wings, powerful stances and magnificent fan-shaped tails. The sculptures display richly ornamented surfaces, with intricately chased plumage, finely modelled feathers and elaborate raised motifs that emphasise the movement and expressive character of each bird. The silvered finish, enhanced by darker tones within the recessed details, creates a subtle interplay of light and shadow, highlighting the depth and craftsmanship of the decoration.
