Sculpture

Add a touch of pure theatrical elegance to your collection with this splendid sculpture that celebrates the beauty and fluidity of female movement. Created in finely worked white matte resin, the statue offers a refined visual effect reminiscent of the famous French satin-glass and glass paste sculptures by masters of the Art Déco period. The figure depicts a dancer in a plastic and sinuous pose, with arms raised and the body fully extended above a stepped base with a geometric and structured feel. The matte finish catches ambient light, creating soft plays of shadow that enhance the anatomical details and the drapery of the garment. Why should this piece be in your home? - The contrast between the geometric lines of the base and the fluid forms of the figure immediately captures the eye. - The satin resin provides the visual effect of art plaster or satin glass, combined with outstanding sturdiness and durability over time. - Perfect to place on a console, an antique bookshelf, or a living room coffee table to create an elegant and exclusive setting. Although produced in the second half of the 20th century, this sculpture faithfully echoes the formal language of the great sculptors of the 1920s and 1930s, such as Pierre Le Faguays (known by the pseudonym Fayral), Josef Lorenzl, and Max Le Verrier. At that time, the theme of the modern, free dancer became the quintessential symbol of emancipation and modernity. The choice of white matte resin echoes the famous tradition of French glass manufacturers like Lalique and Maison Sabino, which made the processing of satin- and frosted-glass a prize-winning hallmark at the Paris International Expositions of 1925. An exceptional opportunity to acquire a classical-inspired and aesthetically flawless piece of furniture. Make your offer to enrich your home with a touch of pure class!
