Seating group (3) - Wood, Velvet - Rococò Green Velvet Set

Elegant complete lounge set in the Louis XV (Rococo) style, consisting of a three-seater sofa and two coordinated armchairs, dating from a high-quality, mid-20th-century production. This set embodies the classic elegance of the 18th century with its sumptuous olive-green velvet with bold texture upholstery and the solid hardwood frame finely hand-carved with floral motifs, volutes and shells typical of Rococo taste, finished with an antique walnut-toned patina. The capitonnè (button-tufting) work on the backrest of all pieces gives depth and luxury, completed by decorative artisanal long-stem nailhead trim around the entire perimeter of the upholstery and removable comfortable seat cushions. The set presents in overall good vintage condition, showing normal signs of wear, patina and some light scratches on the wood consistent with its age that do not compromise its stability or aesthetics; the velvet is clean and well preserved, without rips or significant stains, and the capitonnè work remains intact, although it is recommended to carefully view all photos for a precise assessment of its conservation status. Perfect for furnishing a vintage living room, a historic library or a charming hotel, this lounge can also be a sumptuous accent piece in a more modern and eclectic setting. Due to the size and weight of the items, local pickup is preferred and advised, although it is possible to arrange shipping via a courier specialized in antique furniture.
