After studying at the Artistic High School Mattia Preti in Reggio Calabria, he devoted himself entirely to painting, developing a personal stylistic language that fuses figurative and informal elements. His work is characterized by a particular sensitivity to the sea, nature, and Mediterranean culture: his 'seascapes' evoke contemplative atmospheres, often dominated by bright skies, wide horizons, and waters in constant motion, in a painting that conveys mood and introspection. Alongside the seascapes, Plutino creates portraits — often of female figures — and informal landscapes, using oils, enamels, and acrylics on board or MDF, with decisive brushstrokes and dense, meaningful color stratifications. His career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: his works have been shown in galleries such as Galleria ArteToma (Reggio Calabria), OnArt Gallery (Florence), Galleria Serraino (Reggio Calabria) and in events such as ArtePadova and PaviArt.
