This Seiko Automatic Chronograph, Reference 6138, is known to collectors as the "UFO" due to its distinctively thick, saucer-like stainless steel tonneau case and hidden lug profile, creating the illusion of floating on the wrist. Designated by Seiko in period catalogues as the "Yachtsman", it features a dual-register black dial accented by orange sub-dial accents, a vertical day-date display at 3 o'clock, and an integrated tachymeter bezel. The movement is the celebrated Seiko Calibre 6138, a column-wheel, vertical-clutch automatic chronograph movement that introduced hand-winding capabilities alongside automatic winding. Fitted to a correct stainless-steel bracelet. Without box or papers.
