Serena Grassetti - Trust the Flow

**TRUST THE FLOW** An artwork that explores the relationship between emotion, intuition, and abandonment. The face with closed eyes, outlined in charcoal, blends with the stratifications of natural pigments and the ink-like drips, giving shape to a spontaneous and unpredictable inner movement. The inscription **TRUST THE FLOW** becomes an invitation to trust one’s own path, to welcome change, and to let what is authentic emerge. **Sometimes freedom begins when we stop trying to control everything.** * Shipping and presentation: The work will be shipped without a frame, rolled carefully on a tube to ensure maximum safety during transport. SERENA GRASSETTI — CONTEMPORARY ARTIST Serena Grassetti is an Italian contemporary artist whose research investigates the complexity of being human, exploring identity, memory, fragility, and inner transformation through a personal and multidisciplinary artistic language. Daughter of an artist, trained at the Institute of Art in Macerata, she has developed over the years a deep knowledge of matter and its expressive possibilities, experimenting with painting, sculpture, modeling, resins, charcoal, and techniques related to Natural Art. This experience constitutes the foundation of a practice in which the material is not a mere support, but an integral part of the meaning of the work. At the center of her research is the body understood as psychological and symbolic space: a presence capable of manifesting what words cannot express. Through incomplete figures, gestures loaded with tension, and forms that oscillate between presence and dissolution, Grassetti gives visual shape to the deepest states of human experience. Her work fits into the international dialogue of sculpture and contemporary figurative art, in thematic relation to the research of Rabarama, Berlinde De Bruyckere, and Xiang Jing, while the comparison with Andy Warhol, Banksy, and KAWS opens a reflection on the different ways in which contemporary art interprets identity and the human condition. With works presented in exhibition contexts in Italy and abroad, Serena Grassetti develops a research aimed at surpassing superficial representation to reach a more intimate and universal dimension. Her poetics are founded on a fundamental principle: to give form to what is not seen, but which profoundly determines what we are.
