Sergio Zampieri - "Materia viva" XL

Beautiful original unpublished work created by contemporary painter Sergio Zampieri (Rome, 1968). "Materia viva" Acrylic pastes on canvas Sergio Zampieri In “Materia viva” the surface of the canvas loses its neutrality to transform into a moving organism. The acrylic pastes build reliefs, cracks and branching that evoke mineral veins, roots and stratifications of the earth. Gold, copper and silver traverse the light background creating luminous contrasts that change with the light and enhance the strong three-dimensionality of the work. It is an organic abstraction in which matter does not represent nature: it seems to become nature itself, alive, pulsating and in continuous transformation. The work is archived and permanently visible on the artist's official site www.sergiozampieri.it where you can obtain further information relating to his artistic path.
