Set of 6 Lobatus raninus (formerly Strombus raninus) – Collector Quality Hawk-wing Conchs – Dominican Republic A beautiful collector’s set composed of 6 specimens of Lobatus raninus, formerly known as Strombus raninus, originating from the Dominican Republic. These elegant hawk-wing conchs are appreciated for their distinctive angular form, well-developed outer lip, and attractive natural coloration. The set presents a pleasing variety of tones and patterns, ranging from creamy white and soft beige to warmer brown, pinkish, and caramel shades. The exterior shows the characteristic sculptural ridges and growth lines of the species, while the apertures display smooth glossy interiors with delicate pale pink to ivory nuances.
