Sextant - Brass

Old brass maritime navigation sextant, signed “HENRY BARROW & Co LONDON,” a London-based manufacturer of scientific and navigation instruments in the 19th century. Iconic piece of scientific and optical instrumentation, highly sought after by enthusiasts of ancient navigation, vintage maritime, scientific curiosities, industrial design, steampunk, and high-end marine decoration. Ideal for collection, display cabinet, cabinet of curiosities, or nautical decoration. ( compass, compass, dry compass, marine chronometer, spyglass, telescope ) Good overall condition with natural brass patina and time-worn traces.
