The Adoration of the Golden Calf is a homage to the painting by Nicolas Poussin dated around 1633–1634. The scene shows a crowd dancing around a golden calf and evokes idol worship and fascination with wealth. Private collection of the artist - !! He graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, and began his artistic practice with graffiti alongside Jone Hopper in the early 1990s. His work sits within a free and instinctive approach, nourished by urban culture and contemporary visual exploration. Over the years, his painting evolves toward a rougher, more expressive handwriting, blending abstraction, free figuration and the energy of gestural mark-making.
