Elegant antique chaise longue, or dormeuse, with a nineteenth‑century taste and Victorian inspiration, characterized by a refined dark wood frame finely worked. The sinuous line of the backrest is enhanced by a prominent carved element depicting a stylized swan, with a curved neck and broad carved plumage, giving the piece a strong decorative character. The elongated seat and the upholstered backrest are covered in fabric in peach-pink tones, adorned with small repeated geometric motifs and finished along the edges with golden braid. The lower edge of the frame features continuous carved work, while the turned legs harmoniously complete the set. There is also a cylindrical cushion coordinated to the upholstery.
